There were dozens of different body styles available on the Ford Model A chassis, but the most desirable is the cabriolet. Cars like the 1929 offer many sensations that were not offered before, such as the sportiness and openness of a convertible, and yet also the all weather sensation of a closed car. This car was the most expensive Model A Ford of it's time.
The Model A's familiar 200 cubic inch inline- four is all about torque, moving the Phaeton with genuine gusto. This one was rebuilt and runs superbly with a bouncy energetic feel. The car is showroom quality with one small exception; the seems in the leather front seat started to come apart. I was able to use cloth tape over the seems which are holding very well. If you want a perfect car a new leather seat from LaBaron Bonnie runs about $1000. All other physical components of the vehicle are in excellent condition.
