I purchased this car in southern Indiana where the previous owner had taken very good care of it as a “summer only car”. I flew out to Fort Wayne and drove it back over 1200 miles. It drove beautifully, not one problem and as it was in August, I drove most of the way with the top down! What a ball!
Once I had the car home, I have had the following work done to it: replaced the hydraulic cylinders to the top, replaced top relay, replaced EHA valve, added 44k fuel system cleaner, replaced fuel filter, replaced voltage regulator, changed engine oil and OEM Filter, replaced fuel pump (old one had a slight leak), replaced center tie rod assembly and did a complete wheel alignment, replaced air filter, discharged and evacuated a/c system and recharged with proper charge of refrigerant and refrigerant oil. This beauty is now completely gone through and any possible fault has been taken care of and repaired. You can now drive it with full confidence of an every day dependable driver.
